Lalon Shah Bridge, Bheramara, Kushtia, located on the border of Bahirchar Union Parishad No. 3.
The Lalon Shah Bridge was built on the Padma River near Hardinge Bridge on the Bheramara Ishwardi border. The foundation stone of the bridge was laid by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on 13 January 2001. Construction of the bridge began in 2003. The length of the bridge is 1.6 km and the width is 16.10 m. The bridge was inaugurated on 17 May 2004 for full traffic
Former Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia. The bridge has two lines. 6.00 km on the west side of the bridge (Bheramara-Kushtia) and the bridge on the east side (Pakshi-Ishwardi) has facilitated communication between the people of Kushtia, Meherpur, Jhenaidah districts. Bridge development and transportation system in the south-western part of Bangladesh
The system continues to contribute a lot to the development and expansion of the transportation system.
